Stowvalley Groundworks Devon construct drainage and underground systems. Firstly trenches must be excavated to the correct gradient allowing various wastewater to flow naturally by gravity toward the discharge point or treatment facility such as a septic tank (which we often install). Pipework is laid on pea shingle and connected up appropriately.
This also extends to many types of underground services such as electrical, gas, water and data. We plan ahead for you and ensure all services are catered for in this critical phase.

Our sister company, Stowvalley Firewood operate a range of modern mobile firewood processing equipment and we are able to process timber of any length or diameter to your required specification. The resulting firewood can be conveyed directly into your storage building or simply heaped for the customer to store and stack themselves.
To get the best performance from your stove, log burner, open fire, fire pit or biomass burner it’s essential to use seasoned firewood. Seasoned wood is timber that has been dried either naturally (air-dried by mother nature) or in a kiln until it reaches a moisture content of 20% or less.
Alternatively, we have large storage facilities and can supply and deliver seasoned or non-seasoned firewood in loads of 2 cubic meters and above for both domestic wood burners and stoves. Larger billets of up to 1.2 meters long are available for biomass boilers.
We also build and install ventilated wood storage sheds with hard standing to take the heavy weight of seasoned wood.
